Happy Anniversary!!
Today, Matt and I celebrate 9 years of marriage. We've done a lot in these past 9 years. We've traveled across the country together and visited a couple other countries together. We've gone to school together... unfortunately, only one of us actually finished. We even worked for the same company together. Every year, I love him even more than the one before. However, this year, we became parents together and my love has grown exponentially more. Having a baby with him has allowed me to see a whole new part of him. I feel as though I have fallen in love with him all over again.
I love being married to my best friend. I love laughing with him. I love that we can fart around each other, and still be attracted to one another. And I love being a parent with him.
Matt, I am sorry for being so mushy, but I just love you so much!

Fun Tag!
It can be about Matt or me:
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew/know me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

No Longer a Newborn!
Well, Brooklyn is officially no longer a newborn!! She is now 3 months old and growing so fast! I had to put away all her newborn clothes last week since she no longer fits in any of them. It was sad mainly because they were all so cute on her. We think she weighs about 13 lbs now.
She has now developed a pretty good routine: awake at around 6am for breakfast, a snack and then a nap around 8am, awake again around noon for lunch, snack and then a catnap around 3pm, dinner around 6pm, another catnap, playtime with daddy, bathtime (every other day), and finally snack and bedtime around 8:30pm.
She has become much more alert and talkative, and is getting stronger while preparing to crawl.
She still smiles a whole lot, but doesn't laugh yet. Maybe we just aren't that funny to her... just funny looking.
She still loves her bathtime and her bouncy chair.
She loves playing with Mommy all day. We have so much fun together!
She also enjoys her time with Daddy, too (despite her face).
In a nutshell, she is just a happy, loving, sweet, adorable, cute, (and all the other endearing words known to mankind) baby, and we love her more than words can say.

Painted Nails & Exercising
I painted Brooklyn's toenails to match my own this week. It took two days to finally get all 10 of her toenails painted. Her legs, feet and toes are rarely still... even when she's sleeping.
Also...
this is what Brooklyn has now learned to do. It is what she does for exercise. We call it "kick-bouncing". She is very good at it and does it all the time. I guess she was inspired by her mommy's new exercise regime. I didn't know it was possible, but she now loves her bouncy chair even more!

It happens to everyone??
Yesterday I was attempting to take a picture of Brooklyn's eyebrows that were finally growing in and I dropped the camera right on her head (darn butter-fingers). She cried a cry that I've only heard when she was getting her shots. I cried, too... mainly because of the guilt. She was fine, but man did I feel bad for hurting my little baby girl. Then I remembered that I had read and/or heard that it happens all the time and to all babies, and that it usually isn't a result of negligence. I believe it now. I am glad it happens to everyone; otherwise, I would not have been able to forgive myself.

Two Months and Counting...
Brooklyn is now 2 months old and loving life!
She still loves taking a bath, and she still loves her vibrating play chair.
She also went to the doctor for a check-up. She weighed in at 10 lbs 10 oz and measured 22 inches in length. She remains in the 50th percentile in all her measurments. Way to go Brooklyn!!! As you can see, she is very proud of herself.
She also received several shots (2 in each leg).
We thought she could best tell you how it all went herself...
